Thanks Dawg, the ice piled up along the shoreline is real safe to walk on but the ice beyond that is thin and unsafe it got to late a start freezing to become safe before spring. One year around 1968 we had beautiful ice on lake superior and I had a good time skating for miles on it. It was over a foot thick like our harbor ice is right now. andy 74

I can roller skate but my opportunities to Ice Skate have been Nill living in the Deep South! LOL
