I grew up in Alaska in the 30's and 40's and saw most of these sights first hand. BUT I have to say I have never ever seen such beauty shown with such an eye for stark realism. I hope to revisit the old stomping grounds before I croak and I have to say these images nearly brought tears to my old eyes.
