I have a DX7440 and a DX7590

I am looking for more light in my flash shots as well as greater working range than the built in flash.:?

Nothing too bulky or heavy.

Any recomendations ?:?

Hi Gilly. I use a sunpak auto 144pc with my dx7590, works great, attach with a pc synch cord, you'll need a bracket also ( pic below) Others report great results with sunpak 383, 544 etc BUT i dont think the 7440 has synch cord connection. You might want to check out slave flashes that sit separetely and are triggered by the cameras onboard flash. bring your camera to a local store and check compatability with it

Hello Dan!

Is that SunPack:

2 or 4 AA powered? :?

Bounce head? :?

For use on a digital camera with no pc synch? :?

Bill, it takes 4aa, goes up+ down but not sideways...wasn't sure if it would work without the synch cord so I tried it and No Go
