I love old theaters Dawg. Most all the great ones have been demolished including some wonderful ones in my home town. Some nice ones around the country have been presurved anyway.I loved those huge balconys that seemed to go up tier after tier and the great dezines on the walls. They were sometimes called movie palaces and they sure were. Now they show movies in oversize boxes. andy 74

The citizens of Decatur saved this one Andy..It is on the National Register of Historic places and will be preserved as long as the town exists.

You can go here for more info on the old theater....
