4/29/07/ Picture of sun taken at 10x optical with tcon 1.7 and also some digital zoom. Manual at 1/1000 and 5.6. I used a sun filter I made four years ago using Baader Astro Solar Saftey Film. A small sunspot can be faintly seen. andy74

Actually Dawg these home made Baader solar filters are not hard on the eyes at all.I hade also made an 8 inch solar filter forwhen I still had my Meade 2080 Schmit Cass 8 inch scope and looked at the sun at high power with the filter attached and it was easy on the eyes. andy74
