The same person gave a very good review for Z885.

So I guess she tested 1275Z at 12mp.

The settings of the pictures in http://66.249.91.104 are quite strange

I have no idea why in auto-mode the DC would choose ISO400. A bit noisy, but not noticeable under such bright light.

I can tell you that Kodak DC are famous for defaulting to a bit over-exposed when in auto-mode.

But to be honest, that not so much of my problem. I bought the z1275, for compactness, HD video, and more significantly, for it's manual exposure controls. So the over-exposure in auto-mode is not much of my problem, I can compensate for it in manual exposure by adjusting the aperture & shutter.

I haven't really seen evidence of the above. It doesn't seem to be an issue with either my old DC5000, my current Z612 nor my son's C533.

I didn't mean the pciture quality would become worse when over-exposed. Afterall, whether it's "over-exposed" or not, is a matter of personal taste.

I noticed that when comparing my Kodak DC280, V550 & Z1275 with other DC brands.

Sometimes, I would retain the over-exposed pictures, because they are more cheerful.

But if I want greater details, I would try to have -0.3EV.
