You have some very nice photos, here and in your other posts. Is this taken in Portugal? Of course, this is personal taste, but I find the pictures from the 712 at default exposure are a bit too light, overexposed. I lowered my exposure one notch, to -.3 and everything comes out in better balance for me and pictures in bright light are less problematic. Good luck with your new camera, or should I say Boa sorte com a câmera nova. Tom

Yes they were all taken in Portugal.

I'll have to try that tip, other users have mention it too.
Actually when I started this set I thought they would be a bit dark because it was so cloudy... :O

These are interesting shots Karsa. In picture # 2 it looks like the boat at the end of the dock on the right is full of water but I guess it will stay in place anyway. andy74
