what happened to Kodak's P-series? The P850 and P712? I dont see them listed on their web site.I was comparing the P712 to some other long zoom cameras, but see no info on Kodak's web site.
The Z712 lacksthe flash hot-shoe, but is that all the difference?

The P712 and the Z712 are completely different cameras. The P is a bigger, heavier and more expensive camera with a max aperture of f3.7 at full telephoto vs. the Z's f4.8. The Z712, besides being lighter and cheaper also focuses faster and has less shutter lag.
