Default Got my Z950 today....

I received my new Z950 and Kodak 8gb SDHC card today. I am finding that I REALLY LOVE this camera. Here are a few shots I took today. The colors are so natural and beautiful.

Cake: Program Mode.
Baby Kalena smiling in her sleep: Program mode.
Pixie expecting treats: Smart Capture, no flash.

Rosy-

It looks like you are off to a very good beginning with the Z-950. Congratulations! Remember please to us 110 volt house hold current to charge your battery.

Sarah,
What's 110 volt charging about? Better than auto charging?

Rosy,
Your niece is a real beauty!! Lots of hair:-) Hope you enjoy your camera. I'm still waiting for my replacement.

Terry

terry-

In theory you could charge from your computer's USB port, but that is only a 3 volt circuit. So it is best to plug the charger you receive with the Z-950 into the 110volt household line.

Better yet because we have two Z950's in almost full time use in our household, I purchased a separate charger and an extra battery on E-Bay, so that a fully charged battery is always available to grab if they need it. All I ask is that they put their dead or nearly dead battery in the charger and plug it in, that way the next user will find a fully charged battery.

Sarah,

Thanks for the info. I'll make sure to remember that.

I got a kodak universal battery charger on saturday from ebay. Today I received my second battery and charged it up. Works just great! Now I can have a spare in my camera bag. Which is good bc I use my camera all of the time.

You are correct, Rosy-

Having a spare battery all charged up and ready to insert in the camera, when needed, is very handy indeed!
