1. always use M mode in PASM, and keep the shutter and aperture settings unchanged
2. don't use auto white balance

Default Once you get an external flash, how do you connect it

HELP! ! !
I have a dx6490 and I want to hook it to a minolta flash unit. I have a bracket so the flash sits on a hotshoe, BUT where can I get a cord that will go from the dx6490 to run the flash?

I take it that the flash does have an outlet for a cord??????

If so any good camera shop should have these in varying lengths I would think,,,If not E-bay works....

Go to e-bay,,,go to search,,,,search by seller,,, look for "rtif1".....I`m buying a flash and bracket from him friday,,,he may help....

Look at the message in this thread just a few up from here...

He`s got an excellent seller rating on E-bay and is very nice to deal with...

Brian
