Default Live feed via HDMI for ZE1 & Zi10

I have a question, is it possible to get live feed from ZE1(playfull) or Zi10 to a TV via hdmi cable?

I have a Zi10 in the mail and I have a Ze1 right now and when I plug in the hdmi cable it goes directly to the things I already recorded which I assume was the intended purpose, but I want it to be able to show me live feed while recording for vlogging, product reviews & instructional videos.

let me know if it is at all possible with either of these two cameras, thanks.

I can try to duplicate this test with the Zi10. Only when free time comes about, Since July is around the corner , it's nearly a year later.

Wayne.

To resolve the Ops question, is simply for me to get my Zi10 back out, plug in the HDMI cable, and verify, that it does not go to playback.

The av out with RCA will go to playback.
The HDMI with HDMI will go to Playback.

The problem has been answered, and topic has come to an end when Op kindly posts back.

Going to a competitors site DP.... and finding their posts that may have a answer, just does not cut it for me?

Having a major camera, with a support, a community, on a business card, and printed on the box, will win me over any time of day.

But giving up a company, selling due to todays times, because the cameras failed to sell because cellphones are ruling the world. is a joke?

Even a Minor company that uses a person over seas to do his work,, brain wash people about how good this is and that is. should be outlawed.

I am entitled to an opinion. and express my feelings. never upset.

Just this section should be marked as Kodak is no longer a company and will support future topics about..........

I was suggesting smok3 try the RCA, not suggesting he go somewhere else. Was saying what a shame nobody is here like so many sites, but for some reason dp escaped the slaughter.
