Default DX6440

I am looking closely at the Kodak DX6440 and I wonder if anybody can help me with one question. Is the whitebalance only available through the PAS mode or can it be changed whilst using the Auto mode? I currently have a Kodak LS433 and use the Outdoor setting all the time for outside shots and like the balance of colour it achieves on this setting. If anyone out there has a DX6440 can they help me please?
Many thanks.

Hi MarkA,

I recently purchased this camera and on checking the manual it says that whitebalance is available in Landscape, Close-up and PAS modes.

Hope this helps.
