Default Finally found a way around crappy Kodak software....

I got a Sandisk Imagemate usb 2.0 reader/writer to download the pics off my camera.. Works really well... I put it in and go to my computer open it and then open the E drive and copy and paste all the pics/vids from the folder then put them where I want them instead of where Kodak wanted them...

Now I can take them into photoshop or whatever I want to do with them and there not stuck in the stupid Kodak folder....

Thats Pretty much what i'm doing with my camera, except i'm using the sd card slot in my laptop, I dont know why computer manufactures dont build pc's (home computers) with a sd or other media cards slot built in, anyway, just make sure you still dont have any residual kodak crap programs running after startup and clean that registry out good.

In the U.K. we don't get the dock with the camera, so the Easyshare program was used once in my PC and then binned (that takes a lot of searching !!!)
When I bought my PC in October I asked for a card reader to be installed as an extra and I think it cost about 9

Well worth it I think.........

There is a program called cam2pc which works pretty well and puts the pictures where YOU want them, not where the program wants you to have them. It can be found at www.nabocorp.com
