Here`s a pic of the new adapter and 0.7X wide angle lense from Kodak that`s supposed to be out this month mounted on the DX6490, finally got a pic so we could see it,,,awsum,,,,,,Schneider sure makes nice lenses....

Yes,,,i think a 2X would be nice,,,if i can get something with the quality of the Schneider..

I Was thinking about the size of that Schneider's 0,7Isn't it too big???... what's the exterior diameter of that?? it seems it's like a CD-Rom...Are there more pics of the cam with this bestiallity attached?

I see the x7, and you mention a desired x2, What does this so called "wide angle" adpatertranslate to in terms of MMs? I am use to my SLR with a 28 mm. That's quite a stretch from the standard lense on the 6490 and I miss the 28 wide angle availability.

The wide angle lens is x0.7 so from 38mm it comesdown to26.6mm.

A Kodak x2lens will never come, the quality drops so much after x1.4 and trying to handhold a 760mm lens would be a bit tricky.

I have read into a lot of aftermarket telephoto lenses and this is a good read for the Panasonic FZ10 but you can see how bad the quality is around the edges.
