Somtimes my camera will freeze when it has been sitting for awhile. I mean it could be unsed and charged. When i go to use it, iI turn it on and it starts the self-check then freezes. The unit will not respond until I take the batteries out for awhile. Then i put them back in and it works. I have to reset time and date.

Some times it will start to power on and the screen comes on, then the screen freezes and goes dark. It will reset with the batteries in the unit if i let it set for awhile. Can any body help me with info about this.

That`s a new one,,,looks like warranty claim to me,,,,i don`t think anything i tell you will help,,,,

But try this anyway,,,if you have an SD card installed remove it and set the camera to internal memory only,,,,could be an off chance that the card is bad and screwing up the works,,,probably not,,,but would be worth a try,,,,,,if not contact kodak for repair..
