Almost all 10X zooms sufffer from this purple fringing,,,the DX6490 has some,,at times,,,but is acceptable compared to a lot of others..

Thanks , I am also looking to buy a camcoder also. I ahve three choices Sony, Canon, Panasonic. What kinds of thihgs I should look for in a camcoder . Any site which posts its review of them
