I had a few hours to kill last night so I decided to take some pictures of the London Eye, but I knew I had to wait for the right light, so these were taken over an hour and fifteen minutes.

Firstly a snap. (I didn't like the light)

A little later the sun came out and the effect changed to this..

I especially like the shadows cast onto the aquarium.

And finally, just as the sun is setting the reflected clouds turn an interesting shade of pink.

As you can see, patience is a virtue.

Night time shots coming soon, when they've fixed the lights.

Nice shots. I like number 2 best, you should enter it for the weekly challenge. :-)

Cheers for the tip Jack.

I must admit, I rarely stray from the Kodak forum these days, but I must keep up with the challenge page as it's been a while since Isubmitted anything there.

I read a bit of everything on here as i've barely touched a camera in my life until last March so i've got a lot to learn. :-)

Nice shots Paul,,,,i still think it`s worth the ten,,,to go to the top,,,and take a pile of shots,,,,,you`re not going to get shots like that on the ground..

Which reminds me,,,the young fella at work has tickets for sky-diving,,,i`m considering giving it a go,,,,,i may wet myself,,,but i`ll get some shots i`d never get that way,,,see anybody duplicate those,,,,,of course,,,,i may be too chicken to try i think,,,i kind of like safe picture taking..

Macro`s will likely never get you killed ...
