I'm having trouble with viewing my pictures on my tv. I have checked my connections and everything is ok. When I turn the camera on to view the pictures I can see the memory card screen flash by quickly then the tv goes blank. I though maybe I need to use the power card for the camera, same result. I even tried looping the video signal through my A/V reciever to see if that will work, same result as connecting it directly to tv. Is something wrong with my camera? I have had this camera for 3 months and I thought I will tyr that feature out for change.

Camera: DX6490
Firmware: 1.03

Thanks for all your help.

...And by the way I love this camera; my 1st DC camera.

hook up directly to your tv,,,,,set to channel 3 or 4 on the tv (can`t remember which),,,,turn the DC on,,,,and if you push" review" it should work,,,mine works fine,,if you try this and nothing happens let me know,,,i`ll try mine and give you a step by step,,there is also settings in the DC you might want to look at,,check your manual..

Let me know...

You don't give your global location. Make sure that the TV output setting in your menu system is correct. There are two different TV systems - PAL or NSTC, depending on where you are.

Also, if you edit pictures on your computer and then put them back on the camera's card, they'll usually fail to display, unless you use software such as 'TVWriter' to write in a format that the camera will recognise.
