in pasm mode what should i set my iso settings to.:?

Depends on the lighting,,,always use the lowest you can though,,such as ISO 80,,the higher the ISO setting the more noise you induce to the picture,,some noise is very acceptable in certain instances where the lower ISO would cause the DC to pick a lower shutter speed,,which will cause blurr...

A good program like Noise Ninja is great for noisy pics too when needed......

You will find if using a camera a lot in dark conditions,,,that using a higher ISO will up the shutter speed you can use,,,that is of great help when a slow shutter speed will ruin the shot,,and the subject is too far for flash use...if the subject is not in motion though a tripod and lower ISO is always the best..
