I just picked up my wide-angle lens for the dx6490. It's going to be my favorite toy. Not a lot of shots yet, but some nice results. My dealer, who is not the world's biggest Kodak fan, calls it "a beautiful piece of glass"

Here's a shot without the lens, and I'll post the same angle with the lens.

Here's the same shot with the 0.7 lens. I'm really impressed how much more detail there is.

What is a good set of lenses to get that would cover the most basic scope of pics out there? I just use the camera mainly for recording family, etc... I'm very much a "snap shot" kind of user vs. anything else, butwant to play around with other scene variations. PS, it's for a dx7630.
