For those with this camera, you might find it annoying at times that when your eye is away from the eyepiece for 15 seconds, it turns off. I've found a fix for that. Take a small piece of electrical tape and cover the two small holes on the right of the viewfinder. The turn off time will be extended to 60 seconds!:-)

The tape goes where the yellow outline is.....

Hello there;

If I remember correctly, you should be able to change the default setting for the power saving option. I'll have to check the manual, though. It is annoying when you are composing a shot and have to wait for the EVF to wake up.

I stand corrected. I must have dreamed that this function was editable. (like the auto-focus and the JPEG compression ) Call it wishful thinking.
