Does anyone have a strong feeling about using after market batteries? I found a place selling the Delkin version of the Kodak KLIC-5001 for 18.25, out the door. This looks to be a really good price. Any known problems with this battery?

Thanks,

MikeS.

Mike I am sure it will be good and work fine Delkin makes good stuff, but for me, I buy the OEMs. For the most part just a thing with me that I then know, this is what should perform the best.

I use a aftermarket spare.

At £4 instead of £30, it doesn't give quite as many shots per charge, but I've never needed more than 400 shotsin a day.

Buy a DPS 9000 battery.

It lasts much longer than any proprietary battery and it will work in almost every dig cam.

Slam dunk.

Curse you digCamFan... :G
I was perfectly content without knowing about that battery .. now I'm gonna find myself slipping off to the camera store to buy _yet another_ gadget for my camera.

Thanks!
