What do the letters stand for and what is the definition of what they do...



I think A is aperture and S is shutter But what does each do????

Program-basically an auto mode with some addedoptions and the ability to adjust exposure

Aperture- Aperature priority mode- YOU set the aperature you want the camera figures out shutter speed and everything else for you

Shutter- Shutter priority- YOU set the shutter, camera does the rest

Manual- Full manual, you tell it what to do, basically all the camera does is focus

Thanxxx I appreciate it... I kinda been fiddling with shutter speed on moving objects... You can almost stop a wheel on a car moving down the highway..
