I think that nobody have the photo of DX6490 wiyh the 0.7 lens. This week I got mine camera, and in over all is very nice. One problem is that with the 0.7 lens it's impossible to use the flash, the lens cover the lights and the photo will be dark. Another thing that I don't like is, if you use the zoom at full, the image "shake" , I think because the shutter button is very hard to press.

Attached is thepick of the DX6490 wiyh the 0.7 wide lens.

That's not shake, it's lens distortion. It is impractical to use zoom with the telephoto lens. You get an odd effect when trying to use any zoom with a wide-angle lens. You end up with an extremely small "sweet-spot" and extremely soft edges in your shot. Not very useful in most cases, but it can be a interesting effect. See this thread:

Tom is correct here for sure,,,and if you read the manual that comes with the lense,,it tells you to use full wide angle 38mm....

Dont forget :-)...

Don't you need an adapter to attach the lens (as shown, I believe in the photo of 6490 with wide angle).

Hi Tom,

When I tell that the shoot "shake" in zoom mode is without 0,7 lens + adapter.

Attached is a shoot with the 0,7 lens.
