the dx6490 is a great camera i am going to keep it as well i ment no offence to all kodak fans me being one of them but it's just lacking what i need, ohh so you know i have been doing photography for 10 years 3 of which i was trained on.

its a pitty such a great camera got let doen by not having man focus.

i won't let me upload my pic. i looked at your photos very nice, i would like to see all 13,000 please as you have offered :G
keep up the good work, 1 thing i can say with the kodak is with a good quality flash your photos bring out a new life.

Yup it does lack in a lot of ways against a DSLR,,,but comparing it to one at 1/4 the price isn`t fair either.....no offense taken,,,it is after all a beginners-intermediate DC anyway....And i`ve been using cameras for well over 25 years,,,just you find when you get older that lugging arround a bag with 2 Slr bodies,11 lenses,filters,etc gets very tiresome,,,and you spend more time setting up and lugging that equipment like i did,,,than actually enjoying yourself and the moment,,,,,i now travel light,,,and glad i do.....

i know what you mean,

i alway bring my dx with me i sometimes put it in my coat pocket and away i go.
the canon 300d is light as well as small but i will never get ride of my dx6490.

lets see a few more of your photos bring out some landscape if you have any.

Here`s a few more,,,you really can get decent shots from a cheap DC....the only real thing i find lacking is the speed of these cheaper cameras.....but there are always ways arround the weak sides of the your chosen DC..

very nice work m8, keep it up, i will keep my dx6490 and get the canon i think just so i can get back to slr i miss them so much lol.
