I just bought a DX7630 at Futureshop. Great camera, butIneed to get a few extra battery packs. Does anyone have any experience with the "non-OEM" batteries that are sold on eBay? It seems to be difficult to find a Canadian-based reseller who has the genuine Kodak batteries for this camera.

Anyway, this camera cost me 450 bucks and I don't want to blow it up with a poor quality battery.

Thanks.

Seems most of the batteries are shipped from Hong Kong on e-bay,,if you are buying e-mail the seller first and find out,,they can be tricky on the wording on the auction,,,and it`ll take awhile to get them,,,and the tarrifs and taxes are no laughing matter either....also make sure the mah rating is as good to,,,i`ve seen low amp hour batts going cheap,,,,but for good reason too...

Kodak can void your warranty if a problem with the battery occurs too,,so be carefull..

Thanks for the information. I think I'll stick with genuine KODAK batteries.
