Hello all,

what size threads does the end of the kodak wide angle lens have? reason I ask is because I bought the conkin filter adapter for the end of my lens adapter today with the intention of getting another fitting ring for the end of the wide angle when it comes in... however, now that I think about it, I am not sure that the wide angle has threads on it to add the filters, I hope it does. Can sombody that has the lens enlighten me please.

Thanks

Thanks Brian,
I took that whole filter system back and bought a few 55mm filters. Now before I order the Kodak Wide Angle Lens... Is it the absolutle best Wide Angle I can get for the 7590? Are there other options, pros and cons?
Thanks in Advance

Since it`s a Shneider lense (quality),,,and made to spec for the 6490/7590,,,i`s say it would be hard to beat,,,the only option i`d spend my hard earned bucks for besides that,,is a Raynox,,,they make excellent lenses,,,ans a good variety too,,just make sure it`s at least a 55mm mount though..

If anyone currently owns the wide angle lens for the 7590 or 6490, I would love to see some "comparison" shots..

I'm thinking of getting the lens, but my local camera shop hasn't gotten one of them in for a while now, and I also wouldn't be able to really try it out as much as I would want in-store.

If anyone has tried one, I'd love to hear your impressions as well.

Cheers,

Matt

You could also look at an Olympus W08.

You would need a step ring 55-62 to use on your Kodak camera (in addition to the adapter).

If you want the 55mm adapter, the genuine Kodak part number is:

Kodak Catalog Part Number 152 5088.

Go here (below) to order from Kodak:

http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQueri...gory=EKN029622

This will also work with 6490. I tried one at a store on a 7590. Fit is perfect!

Note: Most 7590 adapters on Ebay on 52mm. This one is 55.

Also, you could put on adapter, then a UV filter, then a wide angle lens.

You may see slight vignetting (shadows) in corners if filter is between lens and wide angle lens.
