After months of indecision, I finally decided to post some of my work on an online album. I'm not too familiar with online albums, so I don't really know what to compare it to, but I find the process a little cumbersome. Any hints would be welcome.

Go to www.darwinonline.org and search for "Overton".

Let me know what you think.

Tom,

Those are some great pics, especially the old house and the snowy tree.

Hope mine turn out as good someday.

Nice shots, Tom! I second Bob's remarks.

I noticed that the abandoned house has a window air-conditioner unit. Somehow seems out of place! :-)

Yeah, that seems a little incongruous. It just seems so odd that I couldn't bring myself to edit it out. I figure, the way it is, it provokes questions. I've heard recently that this house is reportedly haunted. That makes it all the more interesting, but to tell the truth, I didn't get any such vibe when I took the shot.

Thanks to all who took the time to view my pictures. I am quite proud of some of these shots. Positive comments are always incentive to keep working. (criticism is good too.)

Thanks again,

Beautiful photos, Tom! I especially like the ones taken of the Ambassador Bridge.

What model camera doyou use?

Hi;

I use the Kodak DX6490. Overall, I have been quite pleased with the performance of this camera. I especially like some of the night shots I have gotten, though it does take some work getting rid of low-light noise.

Thanks for the comments. The Ambassador bridge is such a great photographic subject.
