Kodak released an update to address the auto focus in low light situations..

http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/downloads/dln_ekn.jhtml?ekn=EKN029622

before this my camera would go back and forth focusing and then maybe it would greenlight and maybe not...after installing the update i've noticed a much improved time in the af.

This is awesome! I never thought they would actually release an update.

I've noticed a HUGE difference in this upgrade. 10/10 pictures in a row were in focus versus a normal rate of 6/10 with the old version.

I heart Kodak.

Anyone else find the JPEG compression still a bit too agressive on the DX7590? I'm going to fire off an e-mail to Kodak and see what they say about that.. =)
