Ok, so I found a place with an unbelieveable deal on the DX7630 and I simply cannot pass it up. The only thing is, this place does not offer any extended type of warrenty (which I do find odd since it is a large "chain" store). Anyways, do you think this is wise to still go ahead with my purchase? What is Kodak's warrenty? I know its for one year but what does that cover?

Using Google go to Mack Camera in Millburn, NJ. They sell extended warrentys for most cameras.

opps might help if i elaborate. it covers all the parts, except for common sense things like dont throw it at your husband, no dropping it in ocean does not protecct against loss, not that a lot of extended warranties do either.

i am just happy it covers the lens whhich was my concern with taking out an exended warranty or not.
