Just wondering which sizes people with Dx6490/7590 have printed their shots at?

I have the DX7590, and am hoping to print several 8x12 enlargements of some of my shots to show in a local gallery.

I'm hoping that at that size, the images will still be fairly clear.

Any sharing of experiences would be appreciated. =)

Matt,,i`ve printed off a bunch at 8x10 with my 6490,,,don`t havethe need for any larger than that,,,they look great at that size,,,i feel if you go over that size they will look fine too,,at the proper viewing distance,,,in other words if you print off at 20x30 don`t expect to get inches away from it and the photo look great,,,it doesn`t with all my posters i`ve had done with 35mm in the past either,,the larger you go,,the farther you go to view them...

I had a photo from my 6490 printed at 20x30, and it looks great! It's hanging on my living room wall, and I have a hard time convincing people that I took it with my DC.

I'm sure there are a few in my collection that wouldn't look so good at that size, but it can be done, and done well.

I too have a couple 20x30 prints from my dx7590 and my wife is letting them stay in the living room. Like Brian said stand back a couple feet and they look terrific.

sounds great!

i guess me worrying about 8x12's was a bit silly if you are getting good results with even larger prints. =)

my friend and i are making frames for my pics. 16x20 frame, with a 4" matte for 8x12 pics. should look nice!

Yeah 8x10 or 8x12 should look really good with either the 6490 or 7590,,,as long asthe photo is sharp to begin with though,,,just be choosy which you print at larger sizes.....
