Default UK Power source for LS443 bought in US??

I have bought my first digital camera tonight while staying in the US. I have agreed with the shop that I can return the camera if I find out that I will have difficulty recharging the battery when back in the UK.

Please can anyone guide me whether :
1. Can I use a travel adaptor to plug in the US power lead cable in the UK.

2. Can I purchase a UK power lead for the docking station.

Please help as I am happy with the camera but want to be sure I will be able to charge it easily back in the UK before I start to use it - and I am itching to try it out!

thanks

My daughter is stationed in Sicily and is using a Sony that I sent to her. Sony advised me that there was a power difference but the only problem she would run into is that it would take longer to charge the batteries. You should be able to use the converter without a problem. It is unknown to me if a cable is available yet for the UK hookup. Hope this helps you out.
