We bought a "off-brand" SD card for our 7590 and now the card will not "spring out."

Is there some sort of proprietary link to Kodak and their memory cards?

Is anyone else having luck with other brands of cards and their 7590?

Thanks!

I use a Lexar SD card and haven't had any trouble at all.

Perhaps the spring itself is broken?

Or are you using a low-end brand?

If I am not mistaken, there is no way a card could be the root of the problem... my guess is there is somthing wrong with the sd slot in the camera, or perhaps... sor for suggesting it, is it in bacwards?

It has to be the camera. I thought my sister had put it in backwards, but thank goodness you can't put it in backwards! Or else, she might have done it! : )

Should probably just call Kodak and see about getting it fixed. Thanks for the help. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't a proprietary thing.

It happened a while back to me with my DX6490, it turned out to be a barcode sticker on the back of the card was lifting a little when the card was used.
The solution was quick...
