Can someone tell me what I need to do to do panaromic shots on the DX6490? how do I line up the shots when taking each one?

Another dead post,,,,,,

Well you need to get your DC into manual mode for the best results,,,,set it up for the first shot,,,take it,,,review it to see if the aperature,shutter speed,etc looks good to you.....then leave those settings alone,,,this will make all the following shots relatively the same exposure wise....

Use a tripod so you can pan straight across the subject...

Next take your next shot with about 1/3 of it being in your last shot for the overlap,,,this will help the pano program locate and converge the pics better.........

Make sure that the shots will not contain the sun or close to it any way or it`ll ruin your photo,,it`ll be to bright on one side and too dark on the other side of the final pano..

Set the DC to infinity also (landscape mode) for all shots.............

How do I know the overlap? there is no Panaromic mode on the camera.. hmmmm
