Here`s a shot taken today at the park,,with my DX6490 with the Tcon17 attached in P mode,ISO 200.....1/350 SEC,,,F3.1

Basically you can get a decent shot with the tele lense as long as the shutter speed is over 1/125,,,anything below that is like rolling the dice,,,you take your chances....

He looks upset because the feeder is empty. How far away were you when you snapped the pic?

Bob,,no idea,,,probably about 15 feet or less,,not really sure....all the feeders in the park are empty now,i`d think they`d keep them full awhile yet,,,at least till the snow left and a good food supply was available.....
