Thanks fellas, I would love to shoot a Bald Eagle soon but they are hard to get close to, gonna consider buying a blind soon I think, I missed a shot of a huge Baldy taking a wing off of a RC plane that had a wingspan of 10 feet and the eagle dropped the wing off in the bush, was too funny but not for the RC pilot though, he said the wing might cost him another 500 dollars....OUCH:roll:

Nice duck shot. Their colours are almost comical, aren't they?

Speaking of eagles, we don't often see them around here, but yesterday on the way home from work, I saw a huge bald eagle flying towards the road directly ahead of me. It was almost slow-motion as the scene played out... I pulled the car over, almost directly under the path of the bird. I reached for my camera, which was right beside me, flicked the power switch and waited for power-up. I leapt freom the car only to see the magnificent animal disappear behind a tree. :sad:It was so @#$# close! Who knows when there will be a next time? Oh well...

Good work on the duck, though.

Nice post wagaboo. How close were you, and how much cropping did you do?
