Kinda glad I didn't cut that old tree down now, Cause they wouldn't have had a home. Took these with the new shutter release brkt. It sure made it easier. Only wish I'd had a TCON-17 lens to get a little closer.

Need a lens adapter and Longer lens, they are very skittish right now.

Couldn't get him to turn around. wuold of been a great shot if I could have gotten a little of the front of his beak. Bright yellow.

Very nice pics. I have to get out more and see what I can find. The weather's been keeping me in the house lately. Windy, cold rain up here in PA. All the rivers are at or above flood stage too. Glad I live on high ground. LOL

Thanks cwodave. I too need to get further out from the house myself. I just can't seem to pry myself out of my comfortable porch chair and get in the woods. The wife keeps telling me to, and I guess I'll have to force myself to do it. Sorry to hear about the rain up there. Maybe it'll quit soon and you can post some more. I'll be looking for it.
