Here is one to add to your menagerie Bob. Sorry about losing the tail, but I think Wagaboo has been after him with that baster. I also see that the wife let you take your camera with you this time when she kicked you out of the house!! Mine does that frequently! LOL

No I don't have a TCON17 lens, it is on my list of things to buy though. I was just lucky with some of these shots in that i was able to get pretty darn close to the critters. I also applied some cropping too. I have gotten in the habit of taking as many shots of animals as they will stand still for, and I sust try every trick I can think of until they move. Believe me, I delete far more than I save.

As far as getting to take the camera with me when the wife kicks me out, I just tell her I'll stay away as long as she wants as long as i get the camera, LOL.

I think I'll have to try that with mine. As for the lens I am going this week and purchase a lens adapter and filters, then I'm going to convince the wife that our planned trip to the beach this summer, where all eleven grandchildren will be there, a TCON-17 lens will be required equipment. No Ifs Ands or Buts. Yes dear, if you want the best shots I'll have to get it!! I'll let you know if it works.

well, i don't know about the B.O. Dawg, I can't smell you all the way up here in Indiana. But you might try going to the pet store and getting some of that cologne that they spray on those fancy French Poodles LOL.

I attribute my skill in getting close to the critters to my indian blood. LOL i'm 1/4 Cherokee and my alter ego is Indian...that's what i'm known by at work.I know what i'll do, I'll post a self portrait.

here goes

On the subject of a Tcon17, can someone explain what that will give me as far as an addition to my 7590, Still pretty new to the digicam world and have been hearing alot about the tcon17, example being, how much more power will that add to the 10x zoom already on the 7590 etc...thanks for the help fellas :-)
getting the lens adapter and polarizing filter next week and want to know if I should make the tcon my next investment.
