Now that looks like the Angus we grew up with!! Here it's a Black Angus.

Nice shot, and a good location to find it.

However, I hate to niggle, but it's not an Aberdeen Angus, it's a Highland Cow.

I`ll blame my Dad for that, ha ha . I hooked my camera up to the T.V. to show him the pics...Aberdeen Angus he said.

It just goes to show parents aren`t always right :-)... thanks Alan T.

Tell you what -- if that beast came at me claiming to be Britney Spears, let alone an angus, I'd agree... and I'd agree over my shoulder, on a pretty quick retreat...

That's exactly what I did for my Dad, in his old folks' home near to my home.He died a month ago (aged 88). In his childhood he lived in Kirkstone Road, Sheffield, so I've always had a special brain sensor for references to the Kirkstone Pass, which I know well.

Putting family pictures on the TV is a big advance available easily from many digicams, and it will lighten the lives of many old folks with children who take the trouble to do it. I hope my children do it for me.

Keep up the good work

Alan T
PS: when I write 88, followed by closing bracket, I get a smiley I didn't intend. My Dad was 88.

Thanks Alan , sorry to hear about your Dad..

I visit Kirkstone Pass a couple of times a month, its only about an hour away in the car, I love the place ,all the bikers stop off at the Inn ,that`s when I get the chance to snap the Harley Davidsons
