Gee Dawg, this sounds like something many Wives would do, they know full well that when you are content with your camera gear that you are out and about taking photos, this way they know that you wont have time to try and mess around with them.

Yep strange creatures Women, there is always a method in their madness.

If I were you I would have a go at trying to break the bank, get a complete new system and everything that goes with it.

Maybe an EOS1D, Canons best flash gun, heavy duty Manfrotto Tripod, a couple of 1G microdrives, a new high speed Computer, Nikons best Scanner and an A3 Printer.

A chance like this may only come once in a lifetime.

Regards
Dave

That would be really nice Dave, but if I took that much advantage I'd have to buy a bomb sniffing dog just to feel safe sleeping in my bed and cranking my truck. Not to mention a food taster so I don't get poisoned!!! LOL No I think I'll play it a little safer and stay with the system I've already got!! Good Idea Dan, Duly noted and added to my wish list!!!

Psssstt, hey Dawg. I spent the weekend building a dog kennel...or should i say a Dawg kennel, so if your gear buying gets outta hand and the missus comes after you with the rolling pen(or the .444 Marlin) you'll have a place to stay, LOL. On second thought if she comes after you with the .444 head northwest towards Lewiston or Northeast towards Troy.

Bob

p.s. i really did build the kennel this weekend.

Nice set of gear, Dawg. You could open your own camera store. LOL. Hey, how is that wide angle lens working for you?

Hey Dawg, how do you like the Vivitar flash? What's it's range? I'm looking into getting a new flash unit. Got my Tcon and have only used it once for a few minutes. I'm working loooong days. I probably won't be able to really use it for a weekor so. But so far it's great.
