Great shot - Kashka (and Lisa).

Your photo helped mepresent my point of view to my wife, that dandelions are among the most beautiful of flowers. The seed phase is equally striking.

It didn't work.

Thanks again! The snow didn't say and starting tomorrow I am off for two weeks so I may drive you all crazy with all my practicing..lol.
Dave you are so right..they are beautiful flowers.Alot of people don't realize dandelions and many other flowers/weeds are really quite attractive until you look at them really closeup.Thats what I hope to do this summer..to get shots of plants that we ignore just because they are so small and don't take the time to examine them closer...

Nice Dandelion Shot, Lisa. Nice Tulip shot that your Wife took,Brian.

I think alot of small things like flowers and the everyday things make great pics. It doesn't have to be of towering mountains or the Taj Mahal to get somebodys attention. The great thing about photography as a hobby is that it makes you look at the world in a whole new way.

You know you're right Bob. I even look at Indians differently now! To show you what I mean here is a bit of my heritage. This is a shot of my Grandfather, James L. Nye in North Dakota in about 1888. If we had known each other in our youth we could have played cowboys and Indians for real. I know the Indians would have won.

Lisa this is to repay you for your duck shots. I'm not trying to steal your thread, only trying to repay a kindness!
