DX7440 this time round.

This is Royal Tunbridge Wells and this part (The Pantiles) dates back to the 1600's.

One day I'll get the bloody camera back.
Top tip, never lend your camera out.

GASP!!!! You...loaned...your...camera....out!!! HOW COULD YOU!! That'd be like loaning out a certain center part of my anatomy. They might enjoy it, BUT I"D MISS IT A LOT MORE!!!
I I I can'tevenbegintoimagineit!! The horror of the thought is enough to make me check to see if it is still there. I looked down it is. I looked in my bag and IT is!! LOL

As always great shots Paul!!

It's fine Ed, the camera went on a cruise around the Mediterranean for a week.
The main problem was, I lent all my SD cards out with it at the same time (3x256mb), and then my friend only took 100 or so pictures with the camera all week.

I should be back sometime this weekend, maybe I'll do recovery job on the cards to see what the holiday was like:-)

All kidding aside Paul. My daughter in Virginia has just bought a 7440 and I'd like to know if there is anything I should tell her about the camera. Good or Bad. No sugar coating!! I know you get excellent shots with it, but I believe you could do that with a box with a hole in it!! LOL

Paul, What causes that strip of blue in the sky in the second photo? Did the sky look that way in actuality?

Thanks for the kind words.

Ed, my tip for your daughter is not to lend it to the old man, he may see how fast the 7440 is and not give it back.

Fred, that tiny bit of blue in the sky was photo proof that it wasn't raining that day,

you have to get these rarities when they happen.

All the best, Paul.
