Those are so very good Lisa, I'll have to scrutinize my shots more carefully to get the quality you do.

Thankyou Al..I don't really do much..I have been using the automatic setting. One thing I have learned tho is I find it's better to not zoom in too much..then just crop the pic in an editing program.I sometimes tweak the saturation and sharpen a little but as for all those other settings in the program I hope someday to learn..lol.The squirrel was from a much bigger shot but I cropped him as the ones that I really zoomed in on were not too clear.I hope I'm making sense here .Thanks again for your kind words.

Nice pics Lisa. What kind of flower is that? I would like to have some of those.

Great pics Lisa. I too like the squirrel. Not too many here yet not enough trees.

To all of you ..thanks for looking and the kind words!I am sure the little guy is going to be a subject of future shots as he seems stubborn enough to squat on the old maple for the summer and hang around so he can chatter at us all summer.
Dan the flowers are Osteospermums and they come in awesome colours.I have a pot of straw coloured ones also. They are annuals(up here anyways) and bloom all summer. They are one of my favorites. Here's a site that show's all the varieties:
