Hi, all. I am new to this forum and digital photography, period. I just bought a DX6490 a couple of weeks ago and have been surfing for stuff about it and digital photography, in general. Found this forum last night and it seemed very informative and friendly, so I signed up. I have already seen some great shots and found some interesting tidbits. I am looking forward to sharing some of my photos with the collective, for suggestions, criticisms, and hopefully your enjoyment. I just want to say that so far I love my camera and digital picture taking RULES. No more waiting for the results. You know right away if it is good or bad. I think I'm going to learn so much more than I did with my Pentax ME Super, so many years ago. I like instant gratification when I experiment.

Well, bye for now.

Robert
