Nice going Bob. I really like the first one, and the last two. But I do want to know how you got close enough to the beaver to get a shot? It's been my experience that beavers are very hard to sneak up on.

Dawg, I don't know what Bob has found but I've heard that the northern beavers are easier to sneak up on than the southern beavers.

Bob, great shots. Probly one of the nicest sunsets I've ever seen! Don't give away any secrets to those Southern boys, else they'll be trying to sneak up on our beavers too.

Hey, No beaver hunting north of the Mason-Dixon line. LOL. (down Dawg down)I think I was as surprised as the Beaver. Dawg, I don't know how I do it. It must be a gift from the Great Spirit. You know, me being part indian and all. Kinda like that Irish monk, back in the middle ages. what was his name, the one that was friendly to all the animals...Francis, something like that. LOL. ...who am I kidding, just lucky I guess.

Thanks for all the comments guys. TD, it was definately one of those high speed capture shots as it flew before the sound of the shutter faded.LOL.

Marshy, I use Paint Shop Pro but I imagine that they are about all alike. I first do any post processing, then I crop if needed then I resize to about 750 X 560 pixels and that usually gets it to posting size. My goal this coming winter is to really learn post processing. I spend all day on the puter at work and sometimes I really have to force myself to even crop a pic.

geeesh, a little more and I coulda wrote the book I've always wanted too. LOL.

P.S. Dan, thanks for the comment on the sunset pic, that was my favorite too.
