Lucky for me, the cats woke me up before dawn, scrambling from window to window to catch the moon and scope any birds and beasts revealed by it... first clear night in 13 days.

This is Pelham Island in Wayland, Mass.,just at dawn. Pelham Island? The name apparently issome sort of Colonial joke, as the "Island" is a pond. It's in the Great Meadows National Wildlife Refuge -- more Colonial humor -- out here, "meadow" is a broad expanse under a couple feet of water.

Gorgeous shots. I really like the colors reflected in the water. Very life-like.

By all means let us know how the 7530 works out...Does the 7530 use the same dock as the 6490/7590?
