Nice shots Dawg...I never get sick of lookin at old houses,love seeing them.Now I'm curious about why the walls were so thick on the last one. Cmon Dawg, tell us!

Beautiful houses,Dawg! I can't imagine what they are like on the inside..sheesh..lots of money in those days.Here's a pic of one my favorite abandoned rural houses that I took yesterday..it too must have been something in it's day.It's way out on the lonely prarie and I suspect nature had a bit to do with it's demise.Years ago I remember it had an upper deck in a nice wavy pattern.

Lisa the thing I like about old houses is trying to imagine the folks that lived there and their lives as a family. It never fails to get my imagination going. Thanks for the picture, I spent quite a while looking and thinking how much that family must have worked to get that house there and keep it!
