does any one know how to take a frame of kodak video and convert it to a still picture?:?

Assuming you have a PC and not a Mac...

One method - buy a video editing program that handles Apple Quicktime (.MOV) and extract a frame.

Second (simpler?) method - play your MOV, put it on pause, move the slider to the frame you want. Then take a screen grab either with a screen capture program (mine is Hypersnap from Hyperion, but there are many) or with your operating system's command for capturing the entire screen -- this link, http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/gen..*****eenshot.htm, doesn't say what version of Windows. Maybe what it says applies to all versions.

Either your pic will be small or your pic quality will be low. The main portion of the montage below is at twice size, captured as the active window... big enough to see, but grungy-looking. And, you'd want to crop off the Quicktime player interface. The smaller (inset) at lower right is original size, with the QT frame taken off.
