Lisa that is one of the best Moon Shots I've seen posted here. You have certainly put me in the dust. Now I have to try to do a better one, I don't know how I can, but you've inspired me to try anyway. You have a good time playing with the TCON, and I'll see what you've done when I get back from North Carolina.

Your friend Edwin

PS what's goin on here I've lost the white back ground and had to use yellow text?????

A really great shot Lisa, was the moon toward the horizon or mostly straight up? You also mentioned you were looking for a harvest moon on the horizon - will the detail be harder to get because it is on the horizon?

Great shot, Lisa. That is one of the nicest moon shots i've seen. You are right about the harvest moon, it will be awesome to take pics of.

Thanks all,..for looking..:-)..it's gonna be clear tonight so I am going to try again..and this time remember my settings..lol.
Pablo.I think you may be right..a harvest moon may have alot of atmospheric haze when it's peeking over the horizon.May have to shoot it when it's a tad higher..but I don't know if you would lose the orangish(is that a word??) colour by then.I think it would be neat catching it rise over the hills..but I guess it will be practice practice.....and the moon last night was almost straight up in the sky when I took it.
