This is a shot of a killdeer that has a nest at the base of our maple tree. I was crawling on my belly in my front yard to get closer. I bet my neihbors thought I was nuts.:?

Thanks. Yeah, Dan, I don't think he was too happy about it. You should see them when I mow the grass. They puff up at me and then go into their broken wing routine. Pretty funny to see.

Great shot,Robert!..I like those little guys too..she must have had babies around..always go in the opposite direction and you prob will find them...andmatbe get another great shot!..:|
